The Clothespin Baby Shower Game is an easy-to-play baby shower classic, but this game set makes playing even more fun. Each pin comes in the shape of a cute animal in an assortment of pastel colors. The rules of the game are simple. The hostess gives each guest a clothespin upon arrival and is told that whenever someone mentions the word "baby," the speaker’s pin must be forfeited to the person who is first to claim it. Guests may choose to clip the pins to their clothes to display their "trophies." The winner is the person with the most pins at the end of the party. Of course, if you lose your clothespin, there will be ample opportunity to begin a new collection during the course of the shower. Another variation on the game is to have guests watch to see if someone crosses their legs, for instance, or says, "When I was pregnant," the person catching the other in the "infraction" collects the pin. In each game set there are 24 clothespins colored pink, bluish-lavender, light green, and yellow. Each clothespin is approximately two inches long.
